Jake Chew

Jake joined the Performance Podiatry team in 2018, a few years after completing his Bachelors degree in 2015 at the University of Newcastle. He is an experienced and valued member of our team with an increasingly busy patient load.

Jake grew up on the Central Coast and lives in Springfield with his wife and two little boys under two years old. Toddler Jordan and newest addition – baby Theo are keeping him very busy at home!

Jake also completed a bachelor degree in Medical Radiation Science (Radiotherapy) in 2011 and has been able to transition some of these skills into his podiatry work. He has great experience with maintaining  and treating ingrown nails after being a sufferer himself, but he enjoys all aspects of podiatry and states  that “as long as my patients feel better walking out of my room than they did walking in, I have done my job”.
